Disclaimer

Although this is a Day Training based service, we still need your help as your dog’s guardian! You must still work with your dog during the week —- we are simply there to jumpstart things.

All dogs are different and progress differently. If you are at a standstill, your trainer will likely revamp your plan.

All clients of Wolf.Man Dog Training & Consulting are required to sign a liability waiver prior to the start of their package. You will be sent the waiver to sign at the time of sign up.

Some dogs may not show progress with their behaviors unless supplemented by a heavy enrichment plan, probiotics or supplements, or prescription medication. Your trainer may refer you to your vet office to get more information and advise you on this matter.

Policies

Cancellations

• Cancellations should happen 24hrs before your appointment, unless there is an emergency.

• We are a small business! Wolf.Man Dog Training & Consulting has a $50 cancellation fee for any cancellations of Transfer or Day Training sessions.

• If there are extenuating circumstances where a client is no longer able to continue a package, you will only be charged for the hours worked plus a $100 closing fee.

Before your consultation

• You will be required to fill out a thorough intake form to determine if your dog is a an appropriate fit for our services.

  • If Wolf.Man Dog Training & Consulting determines that your dog is not a good fit for our services, we will refer you to a different trainer or business.

• Please be aware that during your consultation, your trainer may ask for more in-depth details about your dog’s behavior than what is provided in the intake form.

• If the consultation is in-person, your trainer will reach out to you with safety and management instructions.

In your home

• Your trainer reserves the right to end sessions early depending on how your dog is feeling. Forcing a dog to train does not guarantee learning.

• Video will be taken of your dog’s training sessions. These sessions may be posted on Wolf.Man Dog Training & Consulting’s social media if you have signed a release form.

• You may be instructed to purchase safety gear for your home or dog(s) prior to an in-home visit. This safety gear will likely be part of your management plan.

• If your dog poses a safety risk to the trainer, you may be required to attend the sessions until the trainer is comfortable. These will be scheduled and catered to case by case.

  • If safety risk persists, you may be redirected to a Veterinary Behaviorist, or another training company with a refund of the rest of the sessions left in your package.
